Preferred Qualifications

  • Established connections with local community-based organizations and or law enforcement agencies

  • Previous experience working as a Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) or willing to seek certification within six months of hire

  • Must be trained and certified as a peer recovery coach through Peer Washington within six months of hire

  • A minimum of two years of experience in work related to peer support for behavioral health or outreach services to those impacted by behavioral health challenges.

  • Lived experience with being unhoused, the criminal legal system, the mental health system, and/or other relevant systems that impact program participants.

  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Additional Responsibilities

This posting is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities.  In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the Team Lead will be responsible for any additional tasks that are assigned by the Program Director.

Compensation

  • Starting wage $35.75 -$39.54 per hr. DOE

  • Bonus potential

  • Paid Vacation Time – 3 weeks per year, accrued hourly based on hours worked at 0.0580 hour per hour worked, 120-hour maximum annual carryover.

  • Paid Sick Time accrued hourly based on hours worked at 0.0580 hours per hour worked equivalent to three weeks per year at 40 hours per week.

  • Two Personal Days if hired before August 31, 2024, or One Personal Day for the remainder of 2024 if hired after. Three personal days per calendar year thereafter.

  • 13 paid holidays per calendar year.

  • Business cell phone and service will be provided.

  • Monthly parking pass or travel stipend
